Level 1 language modules provide intensive groundwork for your time abroad. Once in Japan during your 2nd yr, you will follow language courses provided by a Japanese university in Osaka, Fukuoka, Kobe, Kyoto or Tokyo. We expect you to achieve a high level of day-to-day language ability & to analyse & learn from your experience of living in this very different society. Our upper-level language modules build on & develop the skills you will have learned abroad, offering you the chance to study & use a wider range of language & styles, from those of newspapers & television to those of literature & theatre.

How much will it cost?
Variable fees are applicable for full time courses. These fees are subject to change, details are available from the provider.

Assessment method
Most of our modules contain an element of continuous assessment, but exam, which test the skills and knowledge acquired over the entire course, represent our main form of assessment.
