Research areas include: satellite/mobile/personal communications; antennas and applied electromagnetic; ad-hock networks; multimedia applications. The course has received a Research Assessment Exercise grading of 4.

How much will it cost?
Standard 2007/08 taught & research fees for home/EU students (subject to a small increase for 2008/09): £3240. Exceptions arise in Management, Interpreting & Translation, Education, Informatics and Pharmacy. Part-time taught courses begin at £1620, whilst MBA courses range between £2000 & £5800 (initial stage); part-time research courses also begin at £1620, whilst Management programmes range from £2080 to £9360 (initial DBA fees). Entry Requirements
Applications are invited from students with a broad range of subject qualifications, within engineering, physics, materials science, computing or mathematics, to join the School's research work. Candidates should have a good Honours degree in a discipline relevant to their proposed field of research. Provide a brief outline of their intended research programme, CV with qualifications to date and source of funding.
