This course is designed to provide a specialist vocational programme, linked to professional body requirements and national occupational standards with a strong work-related emphasis. Core modules are supplemented by additional modules which are selected to form a coherent programme of study in whichever discipline is chosen.

Assessment method
Continuous assessment of student performance is carried out by means of assignments, homework, class and laboratory work and formal examination to test both skills acquired and knowledge gained. All formal grades are subject to external verification.
Entry Requirements
Applicants require 40-80 tariff points, minimum of three GCSEs grade C or above and one A2 GCE or AVCE or equivalent (including General Studies) but consideration may be given to two GCE AS or ASVCE or BTEC National Certificate/Award with one A2 or AVCE (minimum six units). Award of a full Access Certificate by a licensed Access Validating Agency, Key Skills Level 3. All applicants will be invited for an interview
